Next to come from this old dragon’s grimoire is a lengthy spiel about the pentacle/pentagram (those of you of the tl dr crowd, consider yourselves aptly warned), followed by a series on the creation and consecration of the tools covered in this series. This is the final installment in the Tools of the Craft series. ( Much like I have basically destroyed my current New Moon Check by writing this post…) But if you think this would work for you, do try it, just to avoid putting such a powerful spell somewhere where it may feel insulted. ![]() This can be a double-edged sword if you are overly conscious of the fact that you put the check there, you’ll dwell on it too much and ground the spell’s energy. Or otherwise, a decoration or potted plant. For instance, beneath something on the altar that you’re sure won’t be moved for a while. If I may make a most personal recommendation… don’t hide the check in a “hiding place.” Try to hide it somewhere that gets your love and respect. Don’t over-analyze it too much, but do realize what exactly it is you’re doing with this spell. A check is used because this is one of the most profound physical symbols of income - of taking in more than what was had to begin with. It is, above all, a sort of door-opener into chasms of your soul that may be blocking such advancements in your life. This is a spell to attune your inner thoughts towards a life of Abundance in all things - spiritual, mental, and physical. And Abundance comes in many more forms than that which our capitalist world has made supreme. This is not, at its core, a “money” spell. It must be done AFTER the turning of the moon this kind of working needs to grow along with the waxing cycle.ĭo not fill in a dollar amount. You can do it the day of the New Moon if you know what general time the moon “turns new.” I.e, be absolutely sure not to fill out a New Moon Check at 2:45pm on a Friday when the moon turns new at 7:30pm. This should be done within 24 hours of a New Moon. (If you like, hide it with pieces of jade or malachite this will add a more materialistic undertone to the working.) The universe will take the reigns from here. Once the check is filled out, hide it somewhere safe and forget about it until the next new moon. Sign the check “The Law of Abundance.” If you wish, write “ New Moon ” in the memo line. In the dollar amount box, write “PAID IN FULL.” Do this as well on the line beneath your name. Write the day’s date in, or simply leave the date completely blank, as time is the greatest illusion. ![]() Write your own name in the “Pay to the order of:” line. If you’re just using a pre-made blank check, let a green candle burn while you meditate with the check for a few moments prior to the spell. I would provide a diagram but I am afraid to say that I would not feel comfortable posting a picture of this kind of spellwork on the internet.Īs an added aid, burn a green candle while you create the check. Simply place the lines for “Pay to the order of:”, the box for the dollar amount, the line below for the written dollar amount, a memo line, a paying party line (bottom right, across from the memo), the date, and in the very top left, your name and address. While designing it, don’t fill in the blanks yet. ![]() In place of the account and routing numbers, I place sigils of the Craft (runes, pentacles, triquetras, etc.) and numbers that hold a strong resonance for me. In which case it’s still rather simple - take a piece of paper or parchment and simply design it to resemble a check. However, if you’d like, I personally find the spell to be a bit more powerful and more triggering to the subconscious, by creating a check of your own. ![]() All you have to do is fill out a check, after all. I wasn’t initially going to post it up at all, but recently, I’ve noticed a bit of an outbreak of people talking about the success they’re having with their Checks. This comes a few days after the first new moon of the waning of the year, and for that I must apologize.
